Lineage Power, the material subsidiary of Pace Digitek, has signed a Master Supply Agreement (MSA) with China's Guangzhou Rongjie Energy Technology Co to procure 3 GWh of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery cells.

 

The aim is to strengthen its supply chain for India's fast-growing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) market.

 

The agreement secures a long-term supply of advanced LFP battery cells and related accessories, providing Lineage Power with a robust sourcing framework to support the expansion of its BESS manufacturing platform across utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage projects.

 

As part of the partnership, Rongjie Energy Tech will supply its latest 314Ah storage-specific prismatic LFP cells, designed to deliver longer cycle life, enhanced safety and improved performance for energy storage applications.

 

Beyond securing battery supplies, the agreement establishes a long-term framework covering pricing, quality standards, warranties and delivery schedules, while also creating a platform for technical collaboration, product validation, quality assurance and continuous product improvement between the two companies.

 

The partnership is also expected to benefit from Rongjie Energy Tech's manufacturing base in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, enabling efficient logistics for shipments to India and other international markets.
