Chemspec Europe, the International Exhibition for Fine and Speciality Chemicals, takes place next week at Messe Frankfurt from 31 May to 1 June 2022.
This will be the 35th edition of the event, providing an industry marketplace for sourcing bespoke solutions, new approaches and innovative substances, keeping up to date with the latest trends and networking with the right business partners.
On a net exhibition space of over 5,300 m2, some 250 exhibitors from 28 countries will feature the full spectrum of fine and speciality chemicals for various applications and industries, including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, polymers, food and feed ingredients, flavours and fragrances, pigments and dyes, paints and coatings, household and cleaning chemicals, adhesives and sealants, petrochemicals, leather and textile chemicals, electronics and many more.
Chemspec Europe's exhibitors represent an excellent cross-section of the fine and specialty chemicals industry, with strong participation of firms from Germany, India, the USA, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Belgium. Amongst 2022 exhibitors: Albemarle, BASF SE, CABB AG, Dottikon Exclusive Synthesis AG, ESIM Chemicals, IVICT Europe GmbH / Mitsubishi Corporation, Robinson Brothers Ltd, Saltigo GmbH, SOCMA, SOLVAY, WeylChem and many others.
BASF Nederland B.V. will kick off the first day in the Pharma Lecture Theatre by presenting "Innovative PM Powder catalysts for a sustainable future", followed by "How to Reduce Halogenated Compounds Thermal Oxidizer Operative Costs with Integrated Cogeneration Systems", hosted by Solar Turbines. Curia Germany GmbH will discuss "Enzymatic Amidation using an Immobilized Lipase - An Optimization Case Study" before Zaiput Flow Technologies' session on "Improving batch reactor productivity with continuous extraction".
On the second day, Heraeus Precious Metals will host "New Advances in the Precious Metal Catalysis for the Fine Chem and Pharma Space". In the Chemspec Europe Lecture Theatre, Creaflow will introduce "The Development of Flow Reactor Technology to Enable Scalable Applications in Photo- and Electrochemistry", whilst Stoli Chem will present "Process intensification and sustainability – reducing energy and solvents with continuous synthesis".
