Astral posts 24.2% Q4 revenue jump driven by strong plumbing volumes

EBITDA climbed 28.8% year-on-year to Rs. 400.2 crore
Astral has reported a sharp rise in performance for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026, led by robust growth in its core plumbing business.
The company said it delivered “plumbing volume growth of 24.2% & Consolidated revenue growth of 24.2% for Q4 2025-26”, with consolidated revenue from operations rising to Rs. 2,088.5 crore in Q4, up from Rs. 1,681.4 crore a year earlier.
EBITDA climbed 28.8% year-on-year to Rs. 400.2 crore, while margins improved to 19.2% from 18.5%. Profit before tax rose 28% to Rs. 302.7 crore, and profit after tax increased 19.6% to Rs. 213 crore.
For the full year, revenue stood at Rs. 6,568.6 crore, up 12.6%, with PAT rising 3% to Rs. 534.7 crore.
The company’s core plumbing segment remained the key growth engine. It reported revenue of Rs. 1,534.2 crore in Q4, up 25.1% year-on-year. Segment EBITDA surged 40.5% to Rs. 351.9 crore, with margins expanding to 22.9%.
Sales volumes jumped sharply, with the company reporting “Sales in M.T. 84,041”, reflecting a 24.2% increase over the same quarter last year.
The paints and adhesives segment posted revenue growth of 21.9% to Rs. 554.3 crore in Q4. However, profitability weakened, with segment EBITDA falling 20% to Rs. 48.3 crore and margins contracting to 8.7% from 13.3%.
On a yearly basis, segment EBITDA remained broadly flat at Rs. 192.6 crore.
Overall, Astral’s operating performance strengthened on the back of volume-led growth and improved profitability in plumbing, even as the paints and adhesives business saw pressure on margins.
The company’s cash profit rose 18.2% in Q4 to Rs. 287 crore.
