The new production line manufactures low-VOC and low-CO₂ dispersions designed to meet local customer needs and drive innovation in the region
BASF has started up a new production line dedicated to dispersions for architectural coatings and construction materials at its facility in Dilovası, Türkiye.
The expansion has significantly increased production capacity at the Dilovası site, allowing BASF to meet the rising demand for dispersions in Türkiye, the Middle East, and Northwest Africa.
The new production line enables BASF to better serve the architectural coatings and construction industries by providing low-VOC (volatile organic compound) dispersions, which improve indoor air quality.
The Dilovası site has also implemented the Mass Balance approach, enabling the production of dispersions with a reduced carbon footprint. The entire facility will operate on green electricity, further demonstrating BASF's commitment to helping its customers achieve the green transformation.
