Melyra is positioned as a next-generation, broad-spectrum fungicide built on Revysol Active

BASF Agricultural Solutions has introduced two new crop protection products—Melyra Fungicide and Inveris Gold Insecticide—aimed at helping Indian farmers tackle rising disease and pest pressures while improving overall crop productivity.

Melyra is positioned as a next-generation, broad-spectrum fungicide built on Revysol Active, BASF’s proprietary isopropanol-azole molecule designed to strengthen disease control and resistance management.

It is co-formulated with pyraclostrobin and delivers AgCelence benefits that enhance plant vitality and crop performance. The product is targeted at key Indian crops including cotton, groundnut, soybean, chilli, and tomato.

Inveris Gold, meanwhile, is formulated with dual active ingredients to deliver broad-spectrum control of major piercing and sucking pests such as aphids, jassids, whiteflies, thrips, mites, and leaf miners.

It is designed for vegetable crops including chilli, tomato, brinjal, cucumber, and okra, and is intended to support integrated pest management programs while accounting for beneficial insects.

"With BASF Melyra and Inveris Gold, we are expanding our crop protection portfolio in India with solutions tailored to local agronomic needs,” said Giridhar Ranuva, Director, BASF Agricultural Solutions India.

“These innovations reflect our ongoing investment in research and development to help farmers manage resistance, address pest and disease pressure, and improve productivity in a more sustainable way.”

With this launch, BASF is reinforcing its crop protection portfolio in India, positioning the new solutions as part of a broader push to help farmers balance productivity with sustainability.
