The new facility is aimed at meeting rising demand from aviation OEMs
Global specialty materials supplier Bodo Möller Chemie has strengthened its India expansion strategy with the launch of a new AS 9120-certified aviation-grade warehouse in Bengaluru.
The move targets the country’s fast-growing aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
The new facility is aimed at meeting rising demand from aviation OEMs, military and civilian manufacturing units, and MRO operators, as India positions itself as a major global hub for aerospace and electronics manufacturing.
“The warehouse will further strengthen Bodo Möller Chemie’s logistics supply chain in technical support & material availability for critical applications,” the company said.
Located on the outskirts of Bengaluru near Madavara, the warehouse is designed to deliver high-quality aerospace materials with faster availability and tighter supply-chain support for critical industrial applications.
“Bengaluru and India is expected to witness a major growth in aviation and electronics in the next five years,” said CEO Frank Haug, underscoring the company’s long-term confidence in the Indian market.
Speaking at the launch, Haug stated, “India continues to emerge as a strategic hub for aerospace and advanced manufacturing. This investment reflects our confidence in the Indian market and our commitment to providing world-class infrastructure, technical expertise, and supply chain reliability to our customers.
"Across the globe, our turnover is expected to touch €100 million each in aviation and electronics in the years to come."
The event also marked the unveiling of a new corporate video highlighting the company’s capabilities and long-term ambitions within India’s aerospace ecosystem.
During an exclusive media interaction, company leaders pointed to expanding opportunities across India’s aerospace, defense, electronics, and industrial manufacturing industries, where demand for advanced adhesive technologies and high-performance materials is accelerating rapidly.
With the new Bengaluru facility, Bodo Möller Chemie is deepening its footprint in one of the world’s fastest-growing industrial markets, betting heavily on India’s emergence as a global manufacturing powerhouse.
