DCM Shriram earnings, profit grows in second quarter

The company has reported a jump of 15% YoY and total income stood at Rs.2064.61 in second quarter.
DCM Shriram Industries Ltd has reported a rise in its sales as well as profits duing second quarter of current fiscal year.
The company has reported a jump of 15% YoY and total income stood at Rs.2064.61 crores during the period ended September 30, 2020 as compared to Rs.1784.69 crores during the period ended September 30, 2019.
Net profit also grew marginally and stood at Rs.118.37 crores in second quarter as against Rs.117.73 crores in the corresponding period of last year.
EPS was flat and reached Rs.7.63 for the period ended September 30, 2020 as compared to Rs.7.63 for the period ended September 30, 2019.
DCM Shriram is a diversified group with operations in sugar, alcohol, organic and inorganic chemicals, drug Intermediates, rayon tyrecord, shipping containers and processed cotton yarn. The company is also engagged in the business of sugar, chemicals, industrial fibres and related products.
