Tembotrax is a systemic herbicide for maize and sugarcane that controls narrow and broadleaf weeds, helping farmers reduce early-season weed competition and protect crop yield potential
Dhanuka Agritech Limited has launched Tembotrax, a selective, early post-emergence herbicide containing Tembotrione 34.4% SC, designed to control weeds in maize and sugarcane across India.
Tembotrax is a systemic, HPPD-inhibiting herbicide that selectively protects maize and sugarcane when applied as directed. It targets carotenoid biosynthesis, causing susceptible weeds to turn white and die.
“Early-stage weed competition is a key challenge in maize and sugarcane cultivation, as it can affect crop growth and farmers’ productivity. At Dhanuka, our focus is on providing solutions that address the practical challenges faced by farmers in the field. Tembotrax helps control weeds during the critical early stages of crop growth, supporting effective weed management and helping farmers protect their crop potential,” said Rahul Dhanuka, Managing Director, Dhanuka Agritech Limited, at the launch.”
Tembotrax offers broad-spectrum weed control against both narrow-leaf and broadleaf weeds through a single spray application, helping farmers manage weed competition in maize and sugarcane cultivation.
The launch of Tembotrax marks Dhanuka Agritech’s fourth major product launch this season. This latest addition follows the company's recent introductions of new fungicides and an efficacy enhancer. Together, these launches highlight Dhanuka’s diverse product range and its ongoing commitment to providing versatile, modern solutions that meet the evolving challenges faced by Indian farmers.
