Dow P&SP has partnered Syntegon Technology India (formerly known as Bosch Packaging Technology) to offer fully recyclable pillow pouch packaging in India.
This initiative is aligned with Dow’s sustainability target to close the loop by enabling 100% of Dow products sold into packaging applications to be reusable or recyclable by 2035
Dow P&SP has partnered Syntegon Technology India (formerly known as Bosch Packaging Technology) to offer fully recyclable pillow pouch packaging in India.
Syntegon’s vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) packaging machines are capable of successfully handling INNATE TF Polyethylene Resins for Tenter Frame Biaxial Orientation (TF-BOPE) to produce fully recyclable pillow pouches.
The 1kg capacity all-polyethylene (PE) pillow pouch is designed with INNATE TF films and is made using Syntegon’s latest high-speed intermittent motion VFFS line, SVI 2600 and SVZ 1803AR. Both machines are equipped with PHS 2.0 sealing options and can produce 60 pouches per minute (p/min).
This initiative is aligned with Dow’s sustainability target to close the loop by enabling 100% of Dow products sold into packaging applications to be reusable or recyclable by 2035.
