Eurotecnica celebrated the successful handover of a 60,000 t/y G5 Euromel plant for Shaanxi Longhua Group

Italy-headquartered Eurotecnica, part of the Proman group, has cemented its position as the global leader in high-pressure melamine technology with two major milestones in China.

The company has signed a new world-scale melamine contract with China Coal Ordos Energy & Chemical Company and received formal acceptance of a 60,000 tonnes-per-year G5 Euromel plant delivered to Shaanxi Longhua Group Coal Technology Development Company.

The new agreement with China Coal Ordos marks the fifth facility in China to deploy Eurotecnica’s latest-generation high-efficiency G5 process, reinforcing its leadership in the country’s fastest-growing market amid a global melamine demand increase of roughly 5% per year.

“As we formalise our cooperation with China Coal for a 60,000 t/y G5 melamine plant, we see a very clear vote of confidence in the performance and reliability of the Euromel G5 technology,” said Giuseppe Di Ruocco, Managing Director of Eurotecnica. “We are proud to deliver what our customers truly need: high-efficiency, low-energy and no-waste solutions backed by proven results.”

Meanwhile, Eurotecnica celebrated the successful handover of a 60,000 t/y G5 Euromel plant for Shaanxi Longhua Group. Completed in roughly 24 months from design to full start-up, the plant has exceeded expectations in both energy efficiency and product quality.

“It is immensely satisfying to hand over the Longhua project on schedule and to see the G5 Euromel plant surpass expectations in both energy performance and product quality,” said Guido Canti, Commercial Director of Eurotecnica. “This achievement reinforces our commitment to delivering world-class technology to the melamine industry and sets a new benchmark for future projects.”

With these projects, Eurotecnica now commands more than 1.4 million tonnes per year of licensed capacity, and over 8 million tonnes of cumulative production using Euromel technology, solidifying its reputation as the most trusted technology licensor in the melamine industry.
