Evonik's Coating Additives business line introduces TEGO Dispers 780 W: a new waterborne dispersant offering customers an all-in-one solution for classical grinds, resin-reduced and resin-free grinds.
Developed specifically for printing inks, TEGO Dispers 780 W offers several advantages to meet the growing needs of ink formulators: high performance at a low dosage, excellent viscosity reduction, color strength development, pigment stabilization and improved shock resistance.
In addition to its suitability for all waterborne ink applications, TEGO Dispers 780 W is compliant for food packaging applications. Susanne Struck, Global Head of Applied Research and Technology for Inks and Digital, says: “Safety is a top priority in the development of all our additives. Our new dispersant complies with many global food contact regulations and doesn’t contain any solvents, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), or hazard labels”.
With its superior pigment stabilization, TEGO Dispers 780 W contributes to the trend of creating formulations with less grinding resin in order to minimize side effects and maximize pigment loading.
