Godrej Agrovet Agrochemical Q4 grows 48%
For FY 2019-20, the growth was 3.3% and its overall revenue was Rs. 567.7 crore whereas segment result was down by 3.9% and reached Rs. 153.8 crore.
The fourth quarter revenue of the agrochemical business of Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL) has grown by 48.1% to reach Rs. 67 crore from Rs. 45.2 crore in Q4 FY19 whereas the segment result declined by 33.9% compared to the same quarter in the previous year to reach Rs. 5.9 crore.

The performance was muted as Kharif season was delayed and subsequently monsoon was extended which reduced the application opportunities, especially for speciality products. The company has launched Hitweed Maxx which is an in-house cotton herbicide and Hanabi which is a specialist to control mites on tea plantations.
Launch of other new products such as Bloxit, Veteran, Prudens, and Rohelus will help increase our product offering to the farmers.
