Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd has reported a strong growth in sales, profits in Q4FY22 and full year 2022.

 

The company's total income rose by 25.61% and stood Rs. 1100.76 crores during the period ended March 31, 2022 as against Rs.876.32 crores during the period ended March 31, 2021.

 

Net profit in Q4 nearly doubled and reached Rs.221.59 crores as against Rs.112.80 crores in same quarter last year.

 

EPS also rose by 98.11% to reach Rs.19.89 in Q4 as compared to Rs.10.04 for the period ended March 31, 2021.

 

For the full year, the company's total income climbed 45.38% to reach Rs.4085.03 crores as against Rs.2809.85 crores during the Financial Year ended March 31, 2021.

 

Company's net profit jumped 460% and stood at Rs.787.18 crores for the Financial Year ended March 31, 2022 as against loss of Rs.-218.71 crores for the Financial Year ended March 31, 2021.

 

The company has reported EPS of Rs.70.63 for the Financial Year ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs.-20.17 for the Financial Year ended March 31, 2021.

 

The company recently forayed into the battery business for electric vehicles by setting up GFCL EV Products Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary for the purpose. The new venture will operate in the areas of providing solutions for entire value chain of all types of batteries, battery components and products for Electric Vehicles etc.
