Hikal inks multi-year CDMO contract from European agrochemical firm

Contract follows successful Process Development and scale-up of a new product, marking a key commercial milestone for Hikal’s Crop Protection business

Hikal Limited has secured a multi-year Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) agreement with an Europe-based global agrochemical company to supply a specialised agrochemical product worldwide. The long-term commercial partnership, formalised by Hikal’s Crop Protection division, covers CDMO of the product for which Hikal undertook process development and scale-up. Commercial launch is expected towards the end of FY 2026–27, with volumes anticipated to grow progressively as regulatory approvals are secured across global markets.

This partnership highlights Hikal’s expertise in process development and commercialisation, showcasing its capacity to convert client specifications into sustained manufacturing partnerships. Furthermore, it enhances Hikal’s Crop Protection segment by broadening its array of specialised solutions for international clients.
