Hyspec Chemicals inks MoU with Gujarat Govt to manufacture specialty chip chemicals

Hyspec Chemicals Private Limited, backed by investor Deepak Mehta, signed an MoU with the Gujarat government on March 1, 2026, at the Gujarat SemiConnect Conference in Gandhinagar.

This agreement highlights the company's commitment to advancing specialty chemicals and technology within the state's expanding industrial and semiconductor ecosystem.

This milestone reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening India’s capabilities in ultra-high-purity process chemicals for semiconductor and advanced electronics manufacturing — a foundational segment in next-generation technology infrastructure.

Hyspec proposes to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Gujarat focused on semiconductor-grade chemistries designed to meet stringent global purity standards.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India;  Arjunbhai Modhwadia, Minister, Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat; Neha Kumari, IAS, Mission Director, Gujarat State Electronics Mission, P. Bharathi, IAS, Secretary, Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat along with Meghav Mehta, Director & Promoter, Hyspec Chemicals, and Naveen Kumar, Director, Hyspec Chemicals.

The initiative aims to support the growing semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem in Gujarat, specifically providing essential specialty chemicals for ATMPs and fabs.
