Insecticides (India), an agrochemicals manufacturing company has acquired Monocil, Indias most popular agro chemical brand & highly accepted among the farming community since years. Monocil is a systemic insecticide cum acaricide with contact and stomach action which controls broad spectrum of pests in a wide range of crops and is one of the largest selling molecules.

With this IILs basket of products have become very strong and impressive with Lethal, Victor and Thimet.  IIL is going to launch 7 more molecules in the first phase namely Metro, Shark, Rambo, Super Star, Victor Gold which comes in the insecticides category, Dyanamite Plus - a powerful Acaricide and Ultra is a fungicide. IIL regularly adds new products to its range of products with its aim to provide the best solution to the even small and marginal farmer's at the most competitive prices.

According to Rajesh Aggarwal Managing Director, Insecticides (India), "MONOCIL and these 8 new products will help us to strengthen our customer base. We have always strived hard to provide complete crop solution to the farmers in IIL's umbrella. We are also going to manufacture  Monocrotophos technical shortly, and will consume a big share internally which certainly help us  to improve our top line and the bottom line."

"As a part of our CSR activities, we are encouraging the farmers for the inclusion of Pulses/Vegetables in crop rotation to increase farm income. We are promoting new agricultural techniques amongst the farmers through crop seminars, farmer meeting, demonstrations and field days at farmers fields etc. We are also providing literatures etc. for the control of various pests like weeds, insects-pests & diseases to create the awareness amongst the farmers. We are also educating the farmers for the safe and judicious use of agro chemicals. Adoption of schools and girl child education has been also part of our CSR agenda for last 4 years," he added.
