Jindal Lifestyle, a subsidiary of Jindal Stainless, has strengthened its manufacturing capabilities with the commissioning of a state-of-the-art powder coating facility at its Pathredi plant in Gurugram, Haryana. 

 

With an annual production capacity of 5,000 metric tonnes, the new facility marks a significant expansion of the company's finished stainless steel product portfolio, particularly for the mobility, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

 

The facility introduces specialised powder coating capabilities, enabling Jindal Lifestyle to offer a wider range of surface finishes for applications spanning metro rail systems, automotive components, medical equipment racks, OEM solutions and luggage handling systems.

 

Equipped with an automated conveyor-based system, advanced spray technology, nine water tanks and nano pre-treatment chemistry, the facility is designed to handle components of varying sizes. The integrated process enhances the company's ability to deliver specialised finishing solutions for a diverse range of mobility and infrastructure requirements.

The expanded finishing capabilities are expected to further strengthen Jindal Lifestyle's offerings in the metro rail and luggage handling segments. Its existing portfolio includes handrails, car body shell components such as side walls, roofs, end walls and underframes, along with electrical cabinets and battery boxes.

 

The company already supplies finished stainless steel products to projects and customers across India and international markets, including Germany, New Zealand, the UAE and Brazil. The commissioning of the new facility adds another specialised capability to its manufacturing operations, widening the range of solutions it can deliver to domestic and global customers.

 

With the addition of powder coating, Jindal Lifestyle is expanding beyond its existing manufacturing strengths to address growing requirements for finished products that combine surface quality, durability and aesthetics across critical infrastructure and mobility applications.
