The services will be provided as part of a consortium with the Design Institute for Gas Processing

Linde announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide engineering, procurement and site services based on its proprietary technology for the cracker unit at the Amur Gas Chemical Complex operated by Sibur (Moscow, Russia). The services will be provided as part of a consortium with the Design Institute for Gas Processing.

SIBUR is working on this project to construct Amur GCC with a capacity of 1.5 mtpa of ethylene to be further transformed into polyethylene grades enjoying both domestic and global demand. The main feedstock will be ethane fraction sourced from Gazprom’s Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP) currently under construction.

The Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP) near the town of Svobodny, Amur Region, will become one of the largest gas processing facilities in the world. It will serve as an essential link in the process chain of natural gas supplies to China via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.
