Lonza Group announced that Sven Abend has decided to resign from his position as a member of the Executive Committee. He will relocate to Germany, where he has accepted the role of CEO.

 

Sven joined Lonza Group in 2014 as Chief Strategy Officer. He has held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Head of Lonza Specialty Ingredients (LSI) since 2016.

In recent years, he has redesigned the segment to bring greater clarity to our offer while enhancing operational efficiency. He has also overseen the execution of the carve-out of LSI from the Lonza Group business.”
