Oxiteno has developed strong technical capabilities in the production and application of surfactants and alkoxylates
Oxiteno’s new alkoxylation plant in Pasadena, Texas will soon be completed and start production in the beginning of 2018. The new plant has 170,000 tons of capacity. It utilizes an innovative alkoxylation system with the highest standard of safety and flexibility to produce a broad range of specialty surfactants, such as kosher polysorbates, amine and alcohol ethoxylates, EO/PO products, sodium isethionate, high molecular weight PEGs, and much more.
The new unit is strategically located in the US Gulf Coast and will create more than 100 direct jobs. Along with its main office in Houston, TX and R&D center in Hattiesburg, MS, the new plant will serve its North American customers nationwide through different channels and with a specialized portfolio of products for home and I&I, personal care, agrochemicals, oilfield chemicals, performance products and several other industrial markets.
