SRF Limited, a chemical based multi-business entity engaged in the manufacturing of industrial and specialty intermediates, has taken the tally of global patents to 99.

In Q1 FY22, 8 new patents were granted taking the overall tally to 99 patents till date. Overall, the company has applied for 317 patents.

The Chemicals Technology Group (CTG) of SRF Limited is actively engaged in the development of new process technologies and focuses on high end molecules. The company is moving up the value chain by accelerating qualifications of new molecules in both agro and pharmaceuticals sectors and capacity utilization of newly commissioned plants to remain in focus.

The company is also handling complex reactions like halogenation, ethylation, hydrogenation, nitration, diazotization, grignard, isomerization, amination, organocatalysis, and decarboxylation.
