Stallion India Fluorochemicals Limited (SIFL) kicked off FY27 on a strong note, with profit after tax (PAT) soaring 79.15% year-on-year to Rs. 18.57 crore in the first quarter, as robust operating performance drove a sharp expansion in profitability.
The company, a forward-integrated player in refrigeration and industrial gases, reported 12.78% YoY growth in total revenue to Rs. 124.68 crore for Q1 FY27. EBITDA surged 75.85% to Rs. 25.27 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) climbed 78.83% to Rs. 24.79 crore.
The sharp rise in earnings significantly outpaced revenue growth, highlighting stronger margins and improved profitability during the quarter.
A major operational milestone during the quarter was the completion of preparations for high-purity helium processing at SIFL’s Khalapur facility, which has an installed capacity of 1,200 MT per annum. Commercial operations are expected to begin in the upcoming quarter.
The company said the facility will cater to demand from sectors including semiconductors, electronics, healthcare, aerospace and defence.
SIFL is also working with ISRO on long-term helium recovery and liquefaction solutions for space applications and has participated in a large tender floated by the space agency for such systems.
Meanwhile, the company’s upcoming facility at Mambattu, Andhra Pradesh, is progressing as planned and is expected to commence operations by the end of Q3 FY27.
SIFL is also advancing the development of its 10,000 MT per annum R-32 manufacturing facility at Bhilwara, Rajasthan, with completion targeted by the end of December 2026.
Shazad Sheriar Rustomji, Managing Director & CEO of Stallion India Fluorochemicals Limited, said: "We have commenced FY27 with strong operational and financial momentum. During Q1 FY27, total revenue grew 12.78% YoY to ₹124.68 crore, while EBITDA increased 75.85% to ₹25.27 crore and PAT grew 79.15% to ₹18.57 crore, reflecting a meaningful improvement in profitability.
"Our growth strategy remains focused on scaling higher-value products and strengthening backward integration. Our Khalapur facility for high-purity helium processing, with an installed capacity of 1,200 MT per annum, has been completed, with commercial operations expected to commence in the upcoming quarter, catering to applications across semiconductors, electronics, healthcare, aerospace and defence.
'Given the critical and scarce nature of helium, we are also working with ISRO on long-term Helium Recovery and Liquefaction solutions for space applications and have participated in a large tender floated by ISRO for such systems."
He added: "The Mambattu facility is progressing as planned and is expected to commence operations by the end of Q3 FY27, while our 10,000 MT R-32 manufacturing facility at Bhilwara is progressing towards completion, targeted for completion by the end of December 2026.
"We remain confident of delivering 30–35% revenue CAGR over the next three years, with backward integration and higher-value specialty gases expected to improve EBITDA margins by approximately 3–4% over the medium term. With these initiatives, we remain focused on disciplined execution, portfolio diversification and building a stronger, more integrated fluorochemicals and specialty gases platform."
The broader industry backdrop remains favourable for SIFL, with rising demand from refrigeration, electronics, pharmaceuticals and automotive applications.
The global fluorochemicals market is projected to expand from USD 76.7 billion in 2025 to USD 204.4 billion by 2035, representing a CAGR of 10.3%.
India’s fluorochemicals market, valued at around USD 750 million in 2025, is expected to grow at approximately 10.5% CAGR between 2026 and 2034, driven by industrial expansion and growing adoption of low-GWP refrigerants such as R-32 and HFOs.
India’s air-conditioning market is projected to grow at a 14.98% CAGR, while the semiconductor industry is expected to expand at 11.95% CAGR. These trends could create additional opportunities for refrigerants, specialty gases and semiconductor-related gases.
Environmental regulations, sustainability initiatives and government-backed manufacturing programmes are also accelerating the shift towards low-GWP refrigerants, HFOs and specialty gases, opening opportunities across semiconductors, electronics, solar cells, healthcare and other advanced industries.
With new production capacities coming on stream and a greater focus on higher-value products and backward integration, Stallion India Fluorochemicals is positioning itself for faster growth and stronger margins in the coming quarters.
