SYS ADVANCE, a globally recognized industrial gas equipment manufacturer, is a pioneer in containerized Helium Recovery Systems
Stallion India Fluorochemicals Limited (SIFL), a leading integrated refrigerants and industrial gases company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Portugal-based SYS ADVANCE for a technology collaboration in Helium Recovery and Helium Liquefaction systems.
SYS ADVANCE, a globally recognized industrial gas equipment manufacturer, is a pioneer in containerized Helium Recovery Systems, with technology qualified by European Space Agencies for space and high-end cryogenic applications.
Commenting on the tie-up, Shazad Rustomji, Managing Director & CEO of SIFL, said: "Our strategic technology tie-up with SYS ADVANCE, Portugal, marks a significant milestone in Stallion’s journey towards building high-end capabilities in Helium Recovery and Helium Liquefaction systems.
"SYS ADVANCE is a globally recognized industrial gas equipment manufacturer and a leading developer of containerised Helium Recovery Systems, with its technology qualified by European Space Agencies for space and high-end cryogenic applications. This strategic collaboration enables Stallion to access cutting-edge, proven Helium Recovery and Liquefaction technologies required for space, defense, and high-precision industrial applications.”
He added: "Established in 2002, SYS ADVANCE has witnessed significant and continuous growth driven by a customer-centric strategy, superior technology, and proven reliability, with more than 4,000 PSA systems operating worldwide across over 40 countries and multiple industries. Partnering with such a globally reputed technology provider further strengthens Stallion’s technological depth and enhances our ability to offer advanced, reliable and globally benchmarked solutions in India.”
Highlighting the strategic importance of helium, Rustomji said: "Helium is a critical and scarce resource, especially for space and cryogenic applications, and recycling through recovery and liquefaction is becoming increasingly important.
"In this context, Stallion is actively working with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for long-term support in Helium Recovery and Liquefaction, aimed at recycling and liquefying helium used in space applications. We have also participated in a large tender floated by ISRO, and whichever company is awarded the project would be among the premier technology providers for Helium Recovery and Liquefaction systems in India.”
With this collaboration, SIFL aims to strengthen its asset base, expand into advanced gas technologies, and leverage a diversified product portfolio to cement its position as a leading provider of high-end industrial gas solutions in India.
