Advanced materials specialist Syensqo has been selected to supply composite materials, adhesives and specialty polymers for the U.S. Army's next-generation MV-75 Cheyenne rotorcraft.

The development strengthens its position on one of the military's most significant Future Vertical Lift programs.

The company will provide high-performance materials for critical structural and rotorcraft components on the Bell Textron-developed aircraft. Designed to meet demanding lightweighting, durability and thermal resistance requirements, the advanced materials are expected to support the MV-75 Cheyenne's ambitious performance goals.

Developed by Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. company, the MV-75 Cheyenne is being engineered to deliver approximately twice the speed and range of current Army rotorcraft, significantly enhancing operational reach and battlefield survivability.

"MV-75 Cheyenne represents a transformational leap in vertical lift capability, combining speed, range and reliability to meet the evolving needs of modern armed forces. We are pleased for Syensqo to join Team Cheyenne as we deliver high-performing defense systems with the resilience and survivability the Army needs," said Ryan Ehinger, Senior Vice President and MV-75 Cheyenne Program Director.

Syensqo said its portfolio of lightweight composites and aerospace adhesives will contribute to improved efficiency, structural durability and greater design flexibility across the aircraft.
