German speciality chemicals major LANXESS has unveiled LewaPlus Online, a new browser-based version of its renowned design software for ion exchange systems.
The online platform complements the existing desktop solution and works seamlessly across desktops, tablets, and smartphones. It is now available on the LANXESS website.
“LewaPlus Online makes the design of ion exchange systems even more flexible and easier. The software does not need to be installed and can be accessed quickly. The database is always up to date for all users,” says Dr. Stefan Neufeind, Head of Business Development and Applications for Liquid Purification Technologies at LANXESS.
“With LewaPlus Online, we are further developing our proven digital platform for the design of ion exchange systems for water treatment, thereby taking customer service to a new and contemporary level.”
The browser-based software allows users to export results directly for documentation and archiving. A new project-sharing feature enables collaborative work on system designs, while the desktop version of LewaPlus remains available for users who prefer it.
The online version currently includes a demineralization module to simplify the planning and dimensioning of water treatment systems, with additional modules set to expand functionality over time.
LewaPlus continues to support customized process and system configurations, with a strong focus on water treatment and the food and beverage industry. According to LANXESS, the software boosts productivity while reducing chemical and water consumption, reflecting the company’s commitment to efficient and sustainable solutions.
