Brings NVIDIA-powered digital twins & industrial AI to factory floor
L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has launched an AI-Native Engineering Intelligence (EI) Lab for Manufacturing and Operations in Bengaluru, bringing together industrial AI, digital twins, robotics and autonomous systems in a live environment designed to demonstrate the future of smart manufacturing.
The lab aims to bridge the gap between digital engineering and real-world factory operations, enabling customers and partners to experience how AI-powered systems can transform manufacturing processes — from factory design and virtual validation to connected production, predictive maintenance and increasingly autonomous operations.
The facility features NVIDIA-accelerated technologies and LTTS’ engineering capabilities, showcasing applications across manufacturing intelligence, industrial robotics, supply chain management, energy and emissions, and asset reliability.
At the heart of the AI-Native Factory is an integrated environment combining intelligent machines, robots, collaborative robots, drones, autonomous systems and digital twins. The setup leverages NVIDIA Omniverse, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, NVIDIA PhysX, NVIDIA Cosmos and NVIDIA NeMo, alongside OpenUSD-based digital twin workflows, to support simulation, visualisation and the development of Industrial AI and Physical AI applications.
The lab also features an AI-powered Manufacturing Command Center designed to bring together executive decision intelligence, manufacturing data, supply chain visibility, AI-driven production planning and multi-plant benchmarking.
Another key component is its Operations AI and Autonomy layer, which includes a verification mechanism to check actions generated by AI agent swarms before they are executed by machines. The system is designed to support governed execution and safer autonomous decision-making across connected manufacturing environments.
LTTS is also showcasing EIOne, its unified Engineering Intelligence platform, which integrates more than 100 EI solutions and agentic AI swarms into a single governed ecosystem. The platform is designed to help enterprises build, deploy and scale AI-driven engineering and manufacturing workflows while maintaining security and operational control.
“AI is transforming how manufacturers design, simulate and operate the factories of the future,” said Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director for South Asia at NVIDIA. “The EI Lab, combining NVIDIA technologies spanning hardware, software and world models and LTTS’ deep engineering expertise, gives manufacturers a practical environment to explore and validate AI-driven, simulation-first approaches to industrial transformation.”
Amit Chadha, CEO & Managing Director of L&T Technology Services and NASSCOM Executive Council Member, said the facility would bring Engineering Intelligence into a practical manufacturing setting, allowing customers to explore how AI, engineering and physical systems can work together to solve industrial challenges.
“The EI Lab for Manufacturing brings Engineering Intelligence into a tangible manufacturing environment, allowing customers to experience how engineering, AI and physical systems can come together to address real-world challenges.
"Our collaboration with NVIDIA adds advanced simulation and accelerated computing capabilities to this environment, while our engineering & manufacturing expertise helps translate these technologies into practical manufacturing solutions for our global customers,” said Amit Chadha, CEO & Managing Director, L&T Technology Services and NASSCOM Executive Council Member.
The launch extends LTTS’ Engineering Intelligence strategy beyond digital design and simulation into manufacturing execution and operations, positioning the lab as a demonstration and validation environment for enterprises exploring AI-led industrial transformation.
