TCS and ABB forge strategic pact to drive AI & industrial innovation

The MoU will leverage ABB’s leadership in electrification and automation alongside TCS’ global capabilities in AI, data, and engineering
have announced a major boost to their collaboration, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at transforming IT infrastructure, industrial AI, and engineering solutions.
The partnership seeks to accelerate innovation, strengthen operational resilience, and support sustainable growth across both companies’ global operations.
The MoU will leverage ABB’s leadership in electrification and automation alongside TCS’ global capabilities in AI, data, and engineering.
Key focus areas include:
IT infrastructure and applications transformation: Building an agile, secure, and cost-efficient IT foundation aligned with ABB’s operations, emphasizing efficiency and continuous improvement.
AI and factory modernization: Collaborating on industrial AI, digital twins, vision-based inspection, and OT-IT convergence.
AI infrastructure development: Exploring opportunities in electrification, automation, digital, and software domains through TCS’ AI infrastructure initiatives in India.
