BCL Industries Limited, one of India’s leading integrated grain-based distillery companies, has completed the acquisition of the remaining 25% stake in Svaksha Distillery Limited, making it a wholly owned subsidiary.

 

The company said the deal follows its earlier announcement on December 4, 2025, and was completed through the purchase of 14,98,632 equity shares, representing the remaining 25% holding, for a total cash consideration of Rs. 55 crore.

 

The transaction marks a decisive step in BCL’s consolidation strategy, reinforcing tighter control across its distillery operations.

 

With Svaksha now fully integrated, BCL aims to unlock stronger operational synergies, streamline capital allocation, and accelerate decision-making across its ethanol and ENA business.

 

Svaksha Distillery, which operates an installed capacity of 350 KLPD, has been a major growth engine for the group’s grain-based ethanol and ENA segment. The company reported a sharp expansion in scale, with revenue rising nearly fourfold—from Rs. 187 crore in FY23 to Rs. 899 crore in FY26.
