IESA is set to host its annual flagship international event, the India Energy Storage Week (IESW), in New Delhi from July 8 to July 10, 2025
The 11th edition of the most anticipated and premier energy storage and advanced battery event in India, India Energy Storage Week (IESW) 2025, is scheduled to take place in New Delhi from July 8 to 10.
Hosted by the leading industry body, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), the event aims to bolster the Indian government’s mission of becoming a global manufacturing hub by serving as a launchpad for various factory and gigafactory announcements. IESA projects, India is set to attract over Rs. 8,000 crore in investments for energy storage, EV (electric vehicle), and green hydrogen at IESW 2025, driven by the facilitation of new business deals, collaborations, foreign investments, and the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). IESW will feature international delegates from Australia, Germany, France, the UK, Finland, Canada, the USA, Israel, and Korea.
IESA is also collaborating with Gujarat, Odisha, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh as state partners. Various ministries will support the event contributing in this endeavour promoting a robust manufacturing ecosystem.
This investment will pave the way for innovations, cutting-edge research, and development, leading to significant advancements in the products manufactured by companies in these sectors. It aims to enhance the overall quality and functionality of the existing ecosystem by pioneering groundbreaking solutions and innovations that can reshape the industry’s landscape.
Vinayak Walimbe, Managing Director of Customized Energy Solutions, stated, "The upcoming India Energy Storage Week 2025 is poised to be a game-changer for India's energy storage sector. We anticipate a remarkable surge in investments, and we believe that this 11th edition of IESW will serve as a crucial milestone, significantly transforming the landscape of the country’s energy storage, electric vehicle, and green hydrogen industries."
As per the recent data revealed by the Government of India in 2023, over 6,600 cleantech startups are operating across 450 districts throughout India, spread over nearly 34 states and Union Territories. With this, it can be anticipated that the Indian battery and mobility startup ecosystem is going to experience robust growth in the coming years. Recently, IESA has also projected that the Indian mobility and battery startups will attract an investment of USD 500 million within a year, driving innovation and advancements in the sector.

IESW will also act as a launchpad for multiple factories and gigafactory announcements and collaborations, increasing the domestic manufacturing capabilities and creating a more secure supply chain."
Over 150 key partners, exhibitors, and more than 1,000 companies will participate in IESW 2025 at Yashobhoomi Convention and Expo Centre in New Delhi
