LNK Energy revealed plans for a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility with integrated ingot and wafer production on a 60-acre site in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra

LNK Energy, a next-generation integrated clean energy platform, has announced its launch with an initial investment of Rs. 10,000 crore over the next five years. The company aims to make a bold mark across advanced manufacturing, green fuels, and renewable energy generation.

As part of its debut project, LNK Energy revealed plans for a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility with integrated ingot and wafer production on a 60-acre site in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The initiative comes after signing an MoU with the Maharashtra Government, signaling strong public-private collaboration.

Co-founded by Paritosh Ladhani, Joint Managing Director of SLMG Beverages, India’s largest Coca-Cola bottler; Kushagra Nandan, Co-Founder and MD of REnergy Dynamics and former MD of SunSource Energy; and Varun Karad, BioEnergy entrepreneur and CEO of RED, LNK Energy aims to support sustainable growth, responsible industrial development, and India’s long-term energy security.

The company’s strategy is built on end-to-end participation across the energy value chain, deployment of cutting-edge technologies, disciplined capital allocation, and alignment with India’s clean-energy ambitions. Beyond solar manufacturing, LNK Energy plans to expand into green fuels, particularly Green Hydrogen, and build a renewable energy generation portfolio as an Independent Power Producer (IPP), integrating storage, solar, and other renewable assets.

“Having built large, complex manufacturing and supply-chain businesses over decades, we strongly believe that scale, quality and execution discipline are non-negotiable. LNK Energy brings that same institutional mindset to clean energy manufacturing, with a commitment to global standards,” said Ladhani.

“At a time when energy security, industrial self-reliance and decarbonisation are becoming national priorities, LNK Energy has been conceived as a long-term institution rather than a short-cycle opportunity. We plan to combine scale, technology depth and capital discipline to build long-term value creation,” added Kushagra Nandan.

“The future of energy lies in integration—where manufacturing, green fuels and renewable power work together. LNK Energy has been structured to address exactly this convergence, using advanced technologies to deliver reliable, scalable and sustainable energy solutions for industry and the economy,” said Varun Karad.

With a focus on advanced technologies, world-class quality, and backward integration, LNK Energy is positioning itself as a fully integrated platform spanning manufacturing, fuels, and operating assets, marking a major step toward India’s clean-energy future.
