Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited has officially announced the commencement of commercial production of Technical Ammonium Nitrate at its existing facility in Gadepan, located in the Kota district of Rajasthan. The milestone marks the successful operational rollout of the company's dedicated manufacturing setup for prilled High Density Ammonium Nitrate (HDAN), which went live on August 20, 2026.
This development serves as a key execution milestone for the broader project undertaken by the company to set up facilities for the manufacture of Technical Ammonium Nitrate, which also includes a plant dedicated to producing Weak Nitric Acid at the same site. The commencement of commercial operations represents a major step forward in advancing the operational capacity and industrial production roadmap of Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited at its primary Rajasthan site.
