Confidence Petroleum completes EPC for Bengal Gas

The project is part of the seven stations project awarded to Confidence Petroleum India Limited for Erection, Procurement and Commissioning (EPC) of seven CNG stations in Kolkata city.


Confidence Petroleum India Limited has completed Erection, Procurement and Commissioning (EPC) of its first CNG station at Gariya Colony, Kolkata for Bengal Gas Corporation Limited (BGCL).



This is part of seven stations project awarded to Confidence Petroleum India Limited by BCGL, a joint venture between GAIL (India) Limited and Greater Calcutta Gas Supply Corporation Limited (GCGSCL). The station was inaugurated by E. S. Ranganathan, Chairman, BGCL and Director (Marketing) of GAIL.   

   

The project is part of the seven stations project awarded to Confidence Petroleum India Limited for Erection, Procurement and Commissioning (EPC) of seven CNG stations in Kolkata city.



Nitin Khara, CMD, Confidence Petroleum India Limited said, “This landmark project has marked our entry across the value chain in the CNG and LNG business segment. We will help achieve and expedite the dream of the Prime Minister for improving accessibility and availability of natural gas through 10,000 CNG stations in the future.”



"The plans are to set up dealer owned CNG stations along with the CGD owners and also help other CGD players to set up their company owned stations. Together, we will ensure faster transition for a clean and gas based economy, while ensuring greater availability and accessibility of the clean fuel for our fellow citizens, " added Khara.

 

Confidence has also been awarded three De compressing Unit (DCU) to provide Piped Natural Gas to large residential buildings and complexes in Kolkata, West Bengal.
