To develop a supply pipeline infrastructure from its Narmadapuram ASU to ensure supply reliability and gas purity

INOX Air Products (INOXAP) has signed a long-term agreement with Grew Energy to supply ultra-high purity (UHP) nitrogen for Grew Energy's new 3 gigawatt (GW) solar PV cell manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh.

Under the agreement, INOXAP will significantly invest & develop a dedicated pipeline network from its existing Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Narmadapuram to ensure reliable and round-the-clock supplies.

INOXAP will supply ultra-high purity Nitrogen to support the precision manufacturing needs of Grew Energy’s manufacturing of Photo-Voltaic Solar Cells at their Narmadapuram facility. This long-term partnership with Grew Energy reflects a shared belief in building a stronger, self-reliant clean energy ecosystem for India. This partnership will not only meet the high-purity gas requirements of Grew Energy’s facility but will also add to the region’s growing industrial infrastructure. The Solar PV cell manufacturing facility is expected to begin in early 2026, in line with Grew’s commissioning timeline.

Speaking about this partnership, Diganta Sarma, Head – Strategy & Business Development, INOX Air Products, said “We’re proud to partner with Grew Energy in shaping India’s renewable energy journey. This long-term agreement marks a major milestone in bolstering India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem by securing a reliable and sustainable supply of high-purity industrial gases. Such partnerships not only help nation-wide development but also contribute to the micro-level regional industrial growth which is a collateral benefit of such partnerships. As India moves closer to its Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make-in-India goals, collaborations like this demonstrate how strong industrial partnerships can drive innovation, sustainability, and self-reliance.”

Nirmal Jain, Vice President - Engineering & Projects, Grew Energy added “At Grew Energy, our vision is to make India a global hub for manufacturing of Solar PV cells, and we believe strong partnerships will play a major role in this journey. Having INOX Air Products as our gas supply partner builds on our confidence to achieve our vision. Together, through our shared vision, we are adding value for all our stakeholders whilst creating the blueprint of achieving the goal of a cleaner and more energy-secure India.”

INOXAP has previously secured similar long-term contracts with other major solar manufacturers in India, including a 20-year agreement with Premier Energies and a 15-year contract with TP Solar Ltd (part of the Tata Group), reinforcing its position as a key supplier to the Indian solar industry.
