Adani Gangavaram Port, India’s deepest and one of its most modern ports, reaffirms its commitment to community development and social responsibility through impactful CSR initiatives. The Port has recently installed six new traffic lights to enhance public infrastructure and successfully organized the region’s largest blood donation drive to promote public health.
To improve road safety and alleviate congestion, Adani Gangavaram Port has installed six traffic lights on key roads connecting NH-16 with Pedagantyada and Gangavaram villages. These signals are designed to streamline traffic flow during peak hours and minimize the risk of accidents. Notably, the Port, in collaboration with the Adani Foundation, regularly maintains these roads, underscoring their ongoing commitment to public welfare.
Furthering its commitment to public health, Adani Gangavaram Port was honored by the Indian Red Cross Society for organizing the region’s largest blood donation event. The award was presented by Satya Kumar Yadav, Minister for Health, Government of Andhra Pradesh, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day.
Speaking about these initiatives, the management of Adani Gangavaram Port Limited stated, “We take pride in making a meaningful impact on the communities around us. From enhancing road safety to advancing healthcare, we remain committed to building a safer and healthier society through ongoing CSR efforts. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our teams and community partners for their steadfast support.”
