APIC will bring together over 1,500 participants from more than 40 countries
The Japan Petrochemical Industry Association (JPCA) will host the Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC) on May 28-29, 2026, at the Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk.
Recognized as the largest international chemical industry gathering in Asia, APIC will bring together over 1,500 participants from more than 40 countries.
“We will lead the discussion to co-create a sustainable tomorrow of the chemical industry,” JPCA said in a statement.
APIC provides a premier platform for business networking among industry professionals and senior management, offering opportunities to share valuable information surrounding the industry — including oil, gas, global affairs, climate change; facilitate exchange of business trends, including market conditions in each country, product needs.
Through these discussions, participants can deepen understanding, identify future directions, and strengthen global industry collaboration in the conference themed, “United by Chemistry for a Sustainable Tomorrow". reflects the event’s mission:
APIC traces its origins to EAPIC (East Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference), founded in 1979, and expanded to include Southeast Asian countries in 2000. It has since become a rotating regional conference, highlighting the evolving global chemical industry.
“Join us in Fukuoka for APIC2026, where chemistry connects people, ideas, and innovation to build a brighter future. Let’s celebrate the power of chemistry across industries, borders, and generations to shape a sustainable tomorrow,” JPCA said.
