ASM Technologies to set up Rs. 250 crore design facility in Tamil Nadu

ASM Technologies will acquire 5 acres from the Tamil Nadu government to establish a state-of-the-art design facility

ASM Technologies Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Guidance, Government of Tamil Nadu to invest Rs. 250 crore in the state to expand its ESDM related design-led manufacturing and precision engineering capacity.

As per the MoU, ASM Technologies will acquire 5 acres of land from the Government of Tamil Nadu to set up a state-of-the-art design facility in Tamil Nadu's growing technology manufacturing ecosystem, providing a strong strategic advantage and long-term benefits for ASM.

Speaking about the MoU, Rabindra Srikantan, Managing Director of ASM Technologies, said, “This MoU marks a significant step forward in ASM Technologies Limited’s growth journey. With this ₹250 crore investment, we are expanding our design-led manufacturing capabilities in the ESDM sector, strengthening our expertise in precision engineering for electronics, solar industries and semi. This expansion underscores our commitment to innovation, global competitiveness and scaling our operations to meet the evolving demands of our customers. ASM Technologies has its existing operations from its two new state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities at Dabaspet, Karnataka and Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. The facilities are expected to give a fillip to the company’s design-led manufacturing operations and will serve as core centres of excellence for its clients across key industry verticals.
