Atlas Copco has expanded its lifecycle solutions offering with the launch of a new Reman Program under its RePower Centre, aiming to give industrial customers a faster, more cost-efficient alternative to full equipment replacement.
The program delivers OEM-certified remanufacturing that restores compressors to original factory specifications, positioning itself as a sustainable option to improve performance, extend asset life, and reduce total cost of ownership.
Targeting high-demand sectors including automotive, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, textiles, cement, steel, infrastructure, and general manufacturing, the initiative is designed to support industries where equipment uptime and reliability are critical. Instead of replacing aging systems, customers can now restore existing compressors to near-new performance standards with factory-backed assurance.
The process is structured and tightly controlled at the factory level. Each compressor is fully disassembled, inspected, and rebuilt using genuine, quality-assured components.
Core assemblies such as air ends, drive interfaces, cooling systems, and controller modules are recalibrated to OEM specifications. Before redeployment, units undergo rigorous testing, including airflow validation, pressure checks, safety assessments, and final performance verification.
The Reman Program is built around clear operational benefits for customers: restoring compressor performance to factory standards, improving uptime and reliability, extending equipment lifecycle, reducing replacement and maintenance costs, and supporting more sustainable asset utilization practices.
