The deal also boosts BASF’s presence in North India. The acquisition is subject to statutory approval, expected by the end of Q1 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.

New Delhi-based Noble Seeds, founded in 2004, has earned a reputation for breeding and supplying hybrid seeds across key crops, including cauliflower, radish, tomato, hot pepper, watermelon, gourds, okra, and cucumber.

“This agreement with BASF | Nunhems brings our company to the next growth level. It is initiating a new chapter for our team and our customers. By combining BASF | Nunhems’ breeding excellence and innovation capabilities with our strong regional germplasm, market understanding, and distribution reach, we are building a stronger foundation on which to serve Indian growers with high-performing vegetable seed solutions,” said Lakshmi Narasimhaiah Madenahally, CEO of Noble Seeds Pvt.
