Dhunseri Venture opens new plant in West Bengal

Dhunseri Venture's arm, Dhunseri Poly Films has announced the opening of a new plant that entailed an investment of Rs 570 crores. Spread over 38 acres in the Panagarh Industrial Park of the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC), the plant is expected to cater to the rising demands of the packaging and industrial sectors.

According to the company, this is eastern India's first polyester film (BOPET) manufacturing line with the capacity to produce 5,2000 tonnes per annum. Dhunseri Poly Films has signed a contract with German supplier, Bruckner Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG, for the project.

Berger Paints lays foundation of mega factory in Odisha

Berger Paints has announced a new manufacturing unit in Odisha. Spread over 80 acres of land in Mouza Kalibeti, the plant will be located in Khordha Tahasil district, Khordha, Odisha.

Odisha's Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the facility and participated in the groundbreaking ceremony alongside Government dignitaries and Berger Paints officials. The firm expects to invest Rs. 1,460 crores in this venture, creating major job opportunities.
