Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited
The Board of Directors of Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited on October 26, 2024, have considered the proposal to apply to the Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, for reservation of the name of the company, for the proposed change of name from Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited to NFCL India Limited or such other name such other name as may be made available by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

OPaL has allotted 16,710 lakh equity shares of Rs. 10 each to the company on 25.10.2024 against conversion of Compulsorily Convertible Debentures (CCDs) Tranche- II amounting to Rs. 1,671 crore. Upon issuance of 16,710 lakh equity shares, the shareholding of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. GC) in OPaL has increased from 94.04% to 94.57%. The investment in OPaL was, inter-alia, approved by the Board of Directors of ONGC at its meeting held on 21.08.2024 with respect to buy-back of CCDs issued by OPaL amounting to Rs. 7,778 crore from financial institutions/banks/mutual funds and other holders and conversion of said CCDs into equity shares.
