Rajesh Aggarwal, Natwarlal M Patel re-elected as Vice Chairman
Industry association Crop Care Federation of India (CCFI) has re-elected Deepak P. Shah, Chairman, Sulphur Mills Ltd. as Chairman, Rajesh Aggarwal, Managing Director, Insecticides (India) Ltd. and Natwarlal M Patel, Managing Director, Meghmani Organics Ltd. as Vice Chairman during the 60th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held recently in New Delhi.
The newly re-elected Board assured of working closely with government and industry to address current issues of the Indian agrochemical industry in a time bound manner.
Rajju Shroff, Chairman Emeritus, UPL Ltd and CCFI emphasized Make in India Policy has facilitated exports and global presence of CCFI members. “As a leading and oldest association, CCFI has been actively participating in policy formulation, inviting investment to expand manufacturing capacity, farmers training, promotion and innovation in R&D etc.”
Deepak Shah said” “Basically, we have resolved to serve more vigorously in the interest of farming community. We will be encouraging Indian agrochemical industry to cash in on opportunities to grow further by expansion and strengthen India’s position in the global agrochemical market. We will ensure that our exports grow exponentially.”
Adding to this, Rajesh Aggarwal said: ‘Let it be known to the world that when Indian companies manufacture, they not only match global standards but produce at practically at half the cost. We will be the part of government’s Make in India initiative towards Aatmnirbhar Bharat and save valuable foreign exchange by reducing imports.”
Natwarlal M Patel said: “In spite of stringent regulations, the Indian manufacturers have sought to ensure that we not only meet the domestic demand by reducing crop losses to meet the food requirement of the country.”
