CII Partnership Summit in Vizag to see signing of 410 investment agreements worth US$ 120 billion

The 30th CII Partnership Summit is scheduled to take place in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, from November 14 to 15, 2025.

The event is jointly organized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). It is being held at the Andhra University Engineering College Grounds.

The two‑day summit will feature 48 sessions, including a plenary, 27 technical discussions and 11 state‑specific forums. More than 300 delegates from 45 countries, including representatives from G20 member nations and 12 international organisations, are expected to participate.

It is reported that 410 investment agreements worth US$ 120 billion will be formalised, generating approximately 750,000 employment opportunities during the summit. Additionally, groundbreaking ceremonies for projects valued at Rs. 2.7 lakh crore will be conducted.

The summit is chaired by Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, and co-chaired by N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

The state government is targeting significant investments, with expectations of attracting MoUs worth approximately Rs.9.8 lakh crore and generating around 7.5 lakh jobs. Andhra Pradesh aims to become a US$ 2.4 trillion economy by 2047 and an investment hub for global partners.

The summit will focus on key areas including trade, future of industrialisation, sustainability and climate action, technology and innovation, and economic inclusion.

Specific topics include AI and future jobs, the blue economy, and the state's initiative to build India's indigenous quantum computing facility.
