Clariant’s Additives business has clinched a 2025 Schneider Electric Outstanding Supplier Award at the company’s Global Supplier Day in Copenhagen — a win made more striking by the fact that Clariant isn’t even a direct supplier.

 

The accolade underscores the strategic weight of Clariant’s breakthrough flame-retardant technologies in Schneider Electric’s upstream value chain.

 

Long established as a leader in halogen-free flame-retardant solutions, Clariant has built its reputation on a deep bench of patents and proprietary technologies. Schneider Electric singled out the company’s Exolit OP Technology for delivering halogen-free flame retardants that meet some of the toughest global safety requirements. Clariant’s supply-resilience push — including major investments at its Daya Bay production sites in China — has ensured steady access to these critical materials and fortified the companies’ collaboration.
