Industry chamber Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising the 7th edition of the Indian Chemicals and Petrochemicals Conference (ICPC) on Wednesday, 15 October 2025, New Delhi. The event is scheduled at Hall No- 3, Mezzanine Floor, Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Enabling Competitiveness: India’s Pathway to Global Leadership.”

Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India will deliver the Keynote Address at the Special Plenary Session of the conference. Goyal will speak on various issues of the industry, including promoting domestic production, boosting exports, and building resilient supply chains.
The Minister has advocated for India to become more self-sufficient in chemicals, fertilizers, insecticides, and pesticides to avoid dependence on foreign countries for key raw materials.
The Conference will also see the release of report on “Skilled Workforce Gaps in the Chemicals and Petrochemicals Industry.”
The Indian chemicals and petrochemicals sector is a cornerstone of the country’s manufacturing ecosystem, supplying essential raw materials to critical industries.
The government’s transformative measures towards building an Atmanirbhar Bharat have further integrated the sector into global value chains, positioning it as a potential manufacturing hub for the world.
