DCM Shriram launches DEI vision ‘WIDE’

The Indian chemical manufacturing industry has always been a conservative one with limited scope for diversity in workforce. DCM Shriram Ltd. stands to change this status quo with its open-arm policy to embrace DEI in its workplace.

To create a thriving organizational culture that embraces the power of diversity and fosters an environment where everyone feels respected, valued and empowered, DCM Shriram envisioned and launched its WIDE initiative.

It is only through embracing diversity and ensuring equity and inclusion can an organisation build a sustainable future. The initiative focuses on creating an environment that welcomes diverse perspectives, ideas, and experiences, regardless of gender, background, or any other characteristic.

To ensure this, a Group Diversity Council has been constituted, which comprises top management to ensure active collaboration with various businesses within the conglomerate to drive the DEI initiatives.
