Established India's first Soda Ash plant in the year 1925 at Dhrangadhra, Gujarat

DCW Limited has completed 100 years since the laying of the foundation stone of its manufacturing facility located at Dhrangadhra, Gujarat, which marks the establishment of India's first Soda Ash plant in the year 1925.

This milestone represents a significant moment in the company's legacy, reflecting a century of indush'ial conh'ibution, operational continuity, and value creation. The foundation stone for the Dhrangadhra unit was laid in 1925, and the plant was later taken over and commenced operations under the name "Dhrangadhra Chemical Works Limited" in 1939.

Since then, the company has evolved into a diversified chemical manufacturer with a strong presence across both domestic and international markets. Over the years, DCW has grown into one of India's leading chemical conglomerates, steadily expanding, diversifying, and modernizing its operations.
