Dürr has launched the new EcoPump GW iD series, an optimized gear metering pump designed for industrial coating processes using common 1K and 2K coating materials.

 

Built around durability, ease of use and cost efficiency, the new pump is designed to deliver precise, consistent volumes of coating across a wide range of industrial applications.

 

The EcoPump GW iD offers flow rates from 9 to 900 ml/min, allowing it to be configured for different coating requirements. It is also compatible with Dürr’s ready2integrate concept, which combines the control system, metering technology and applicator into a preconfigured solution.

 

The approach is designed to speed up installation, improve process reliability and provide customers with a solution tailored to their specific requirements.

 

Dürr has equipped all EcoPump GW iD models as standard with an Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon (ADLC) coating. The coating is designed to increase durability and help maintain surface quality over an extended service life.

 

An optional bypass valve adds another layer of operational protection. The valve provides pressure relief and automatically opens if overpressure occurs, helping protect downstream application equipment from operating errors and process disruptions.

 

Flushable versions of the pump also feature a patented shaft bearing designed to significantly extend service life. The result is lower maintenance and repair costs, alongside improved operational reliability.

 

The EcoPump GW iD forms part of Dürr’s Fluid Board2, a compact system that brings together the components required for high-precision paint metering.

 

The compact design enables efficient integration into existing painting processes. For customers upgrading existing installations, the pump can also be retrofitted onto the Fluid Board1.

 

The EcoPump GW iD is compatible with existing systems and can also be installed as a standalone component, giving users flexibility to upgrade their coating systems when required.

 

With a broad flow-rate range, enhanced durability and flexible integration options, the new EcoPump GW iD is positioned as a cost-efficient solution for precise and reliable industrial coating.
