The Calgary-based lithium developer announced it has officially closed the previously disclosed sale of its Estevan Lithium District assets

E3 Lithium has cashed in on its non-core Saskatchewan properties, locking in a multimillion-dollar deal that sharpens the company’s focus on its flagship Alberta project.

The Calgary-based lithium developer announced it has officially closed the previously disclosed sale of its Estevan Lithium District assets, securing US$4 million (about C$5.6 million) in proceeds under the Asset Purchase and Sale Agreement first revealed on September 30, 2025.

All conditions — from regulatory approvals to environmental and surface-rights due diligence — were satisfied or waived, with final proceeds reflecting roughly US$0.3 million in standard purchase price adjustments.

“This sale provides nearly a three-time return on E3 Lithium’s total cost to acquire, hold and develop the Estevan Assets,” said Chris Doornbos, Chair and CEO of E3 Lithium.

“The value realized through the sale enables E3 Lithium to focus on advancing our flagship lithium development, the Clearwater Project in Alberta. In conjunction with the recent closing of our equity financing, monetizing this non-core asset provides additional non-dilutive capital to progress through our Demonstration Program and advance the Clearwater Project engineering and permitting.”

The deal marks a decisive move as E3 Lithium consolidates its capital and attention behind what it views as the company’s highest-impact opportunity.
