Exide powers robust revenue & announces 200% dividend

Profit after tax for the quarter stood at Rs. 216.73 crore
Exide Industries Limited has announced robust financial results for the year ended March 31, 2026, alongside a generous dividend payout, following a recent Board meeting.
In a key shareholder-friendly move, the Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2 per equity share of face value Re. 1 each (200%) for FY26, subject to shareholder approval at the 79th Annual General Meeting.
The record date has been set as Friday, July 3, 2026, with payout expected within 30 days after the AGM.
On the financial front, Exide reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 4,735.13 crore for Q4 FY26, up from Rs. 4,335.42 crore in the same quarter last year.
Profit after tax for the quarter stood at Rs. 216.73 crore, compared with Rs. 194.97 crore a year earlier.
For the full year, total income rose to Rs. 18,096.21 crore, up from Rs. 17,350.65 crore in FY25. Annual profit after tax increased to Rs. 859.92 crore, compared with Rs. 800.50 crore in the previous year.
However, total comprehensive income for the year reflected a decline due to other comprehensive losses, coming in at Rs. (692.82) crore, versus Rs. 402.12 crore last year.
