IVAMA hosts its Annual Conference & CEO Meet on July 15-16, 2022

Vini Mahajan, Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India will deliver the keynote address.


Indian Valve and Actuator Manufacturers Association (IVAMA) is organizing its Annual Conference 2022 today i.e. July 15, 2002 in hotel The Lalit, New Delhi. The theme of the conference is “Make in India for the World”. The objective of the conference is to bring the challenges and opportunities faced by the sector to the fore and chalk out the future roadmap for the growth of the Indian valve and actuator sectors.

Vini Mahajan, Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India will deliver the keynote address. Special address shall be presented by Dr Nalin Shinghal, Chairman and Managing Director, BHEL. Senior executives of Oil & Gas majors, EPC Contractors, PSUs and Government officials have agreed to deliver interesting and valuable presentations.

The conference will also be addressed by M K Srivastava, Executive Director, NTPC; Rajiv Gupta, Executive Director (Engineering), EIL; Suman Basu, Head – Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, L&T –MHI Power Boilers; Ebenezer Chairmandurai, VP, Procurement Head India, Technip Energie and Prakashchandra Kotian, Senior Partner Consultant, Feedback Advisory Services amongst others.

“We will focus on showcasing the Association and its members to the invited customers and understand plans, requirements, and expectations from these customers. There will sessions on opportunities in upcoming projects in Oil and Gas followed by Power and Water. The last session planned is on Technologies to “Make in India”. There will be ample time for questions and answers. These presentations and addresses would give participants overall picture of the industry and will be helpful to understand customers’ requirements,” the Association said in a release.

The event is set to witness the participation of over 200 delegates. In addition to the members of IVAMA Association, it is expected that many other manufacturers of valves and actuators would also be present besides good representation from the end use sectors.
